About

The citizens of Dennis and Yarmouth have watched our school district spend more and more money each year, while student enrollment drops and minimal, if any, improvements are seen in attendance rates, graduation rates and MCAS scores.  Every year the district asks the voters to override the budget and throw more money at the problem with no promise of accountability and/or transparency in its spending.

The district and its followers tell us that the only way to “do the right thing” and to improve education for our children is to continue to write a blank check to them every year.  The taxpayers and voters know that this is not sustainable and are fed up, resentful, distrustful and frustrated.

I hope that this blog will provide a forum for exposing the flaws in a system which is not only broken, but the collateral damage of which threatens to negatively impact each and every citizen of Dennis and Yarmouth profoundly until it is fixed.

I welcome your comments, but request that they remain respectful and civil.

Remarkable…. I enjoyed reading up on him. He has an impressive legal and financial background with a sensitivity to what our children and district need during this challenging time. Good luck!!! I’ll take a sign for my yard!!!

  3. You might consider letting us set up a CapeBlog for you on CapeCodTODAY.com where your posts will be treated like a regular newspaper column and picked up by all the search engines.

You can simply copy and paste whatever you post here, or write a separate post. You control the content the same as you do here, but you’ll get scads of response and readers.
